Data changelog

According to this portal's Publishing Organization, this page was last reviewed in August 2026 against our methodology. Figures and extracts on this site, including tables above 1,000 rows when the corpus is that large, are the publisher's responsibility.

This log records material corrections and trust-surface changes we applied after publication. The how-to-report process lives on the editorial & corrections policy. Entries are past-tense and tied to repository commits; nothing is invented to pad the list. This public log starts on 2026-08-08.

    Added a /corrections redirect to the editorial corrections process, a public /changelog of corroborated changes, and Cite this page blocks on identity and legal pages so readers have a stable citation string and a clear path to report data issues.

    Noindex /search dropped from static sitemap

    Removed the noindex,follow /search route from sitemap-static so the sitemap no longer advertises a URL that robots meta tells crawlers not to index.

    Sitemap lastmod moved to page-vintage

    Static and rankings sitemap entries now advertise per-route page-vintage lastmod values instead of a single GHGRP extract stamp, so crawlers see honest freshness on file-authored surfaces.

Open Data

Download the compiled state aggregate as ghgrp-state-statistics.csv (same CSV as /statistics). When reusing the table, name PlainCarbon as the compiler; underlying EPA GHGRP facility reports remain public-source.
